My wife and I are very recent “Empty Nesters”, and started last year seriously contemplating where in Florida we wanted the next chapter of our lives to begin. We currently live in the DMV area of Maryland, and have travelled to South Florida for the last 28+ years, every year. We knew we did not want the traffic or bustle of Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach Counties. We looked online at homes and areas from Jupiter north to Melbourne. Vero Beach seemed promising for a bit, but on a whim, we took a long weekend in February’26 and booked a stay at the Marriott Beach resort to take in the Florida warmth during the winter. My wife had been researching the Stuart area on Zillow and found some interesting homes that met our requirements, but we still had no idea what the area was like. We went to a few open houses and just drove by a few homes we ❤️ on Zillow. Finishing up for the day on the Saturday we were down there, we drove by a home that was on our way back to the resort. There was an “Open House” sign that I pointed out and my wife had me turn around to take a look. The House did not meet the requirement, as we wanted “near water” not on the water as it was. But hey, we had no agenda and no where to be! The absolute best decision we have ever made as that is where we met Bri Nicotera! From the first meeting both my wife and I felt we had met someone who understood what we were looking for and sounded like she really wanted to show us what Martin County had to offer. In fact, Bri was so excited to show us her area that she took time, from her day off the following day (Sunday) to show us some homes that we had seen on Zillow. We looked at about a half dozen homes that day. We got on a flight back home that evening, enchanted with Stuart and feeling excited that we had met Bri. For the next month and a half we were in contact with Bri and narrowed down our desires for what we wanted in a home and neighborhood. The next trip to look at homes Bri had lined up a plethora of options. Some were a maybe, some a definite no, and one was the eventual home we purchased this past July. Through the whole process Bri listened, encouraged , and even challenged us with what we wanted or thought we wanted. She showed us “Her Town” and recommended the best local spots. She made us feel like part of the Martin County family and we still have yet to settle there permanently! Our experience with Bri has not concluded with the purchase of our home, it really has only begun. She is currently working with my wife’s parents to find their new home, and as particular as we were with our home adventure. The ‘Laws have a very specific idea of what they are looking for and all we hear is how patient and lovely Bri is! They could not be more correct! Bri is the Absolute Best in the business! She is the sweetest, kindest agent we have had the pleasure to know. That is just the icing on the cake, because most importantly she loves her job, she loves her clients, and she loves her Martin County! She wants you to Love her county also! I leave you with this final thought. You purchase a home, you live almost a thousand miles away, but you need something from your new home what do you do? Well not knowing anyone else I called my Real Estate agent. “Hey Bri do you have time to take a picture for me? No rush.” This is Friday afternoon mind you, closing time! “Kevin, sure I can! It is my hubby’s birthday weekend, so I will take care of it today!” That is the dedication, passion, and care Bri provides. Let’s be honest, buying a home is no small event. There is Excitement, disappointment, and stress. Bri will make it the most enjoyable experience of your life. She is the BEST!( As I have texted her many times!)
