Two Palm Beach County agents among nation’s top sellers

Even in a slowing market, two Palm Beach County agents managed to post hefty sales volumes last year, according to lore magazine’s annual ranking of the nation’s most productive agents.

Carol Sollak of Illustrated Properties Real Estate in Wellington handled deals totaling $123.7 million, ranking her 16th among the nation’s top 50 agents.

Sollak’s ‘06 transactions included sales of $22 million, $16 million and $10 million.

“The high-end market is still strong,” she says.

And Jim McCann of The Corcoran Group in Palm Beach tallied sales worth $93.5 million, ranking him 32nd nationally.

lore has a separate ranking for sales teams, and the D’Angelo & Liguori Team at Premier Estate Properties in Boca Raton ranked 32nd with sales of $146.8 million.

The common denominator: Sollak, McCann and D’Angelo & Liguori all focus on mansions, whose values have continued to rise in spite of the broader market’s slump.
