| I would recommend Kathleen Nagro as a Real Estate Agent to anyone interested in selling their home. This is a very tough market right now; the news constantly reports how slow the market is, how many homes are for sale, how prices have steadily declined, etc. I truly believe that Kathleen’s advice and guidance helped sell my townhouse in the River North quickly in this challenging time.
With a prior agent my house languished for 9 months with just one prospective buyer looking at it. When I listed with Kathleen a few months after the first listing expired, I had three prospective buyers look at my townhouse in 5 days! The listing went into MLS on Monday, and by Saturday I had a contract on the townhouse. I believe this was a result of proper pricing, a decision based on advice from Kathleen.
To me, communication with an agent is critical to a good relationship. I had that with Kathleen. I was impressed with Kathleen at our very first meeting. Not only did she come prepared to answer all my questions and provide information on proper pricing for my townhouse, she also offered suggestions on staging my house to make it more attractive to buyers, small things that would have a big impact. And, the communication didn’t stop there. She called me with feedback after the prospective buyers looked at the house. Plus, we had several phone conversations as she helped me through the offer/counter offer processes, and she also kept me updated on every aspect of the sale once the contract was signed. For several years I wanted to move but dreaded the "hunting" process, especially since I knew exactly what I wanted. And then I met you and all seemed so easy. You listened to my wishes and only bothered me with properties that might conform to those wishes.
Then thanks to you, I found that "dream" place. Again you made the process of obtaining a contract a pleasant experience. You were so helpful in getting all the required tests, surveys, lawyer, mortgage broker, etc......Without your "shopping" list, things would have fallen through the cracks. But you were always on my side, guiding me with enthusiasm all the way through to the closing. Knowing that you were my advocate, you made a normally difficult process much less stressful.
